Agadir has a beautiful broad sandy beach of 10 KMs. The beach is impeccably clean. There is a nice breeze coming from the Atlantic, so walking along the beach or Rue de la plage is pretty.

Displayed in the municipal theatre, this collection of costumes, jeweller, arms, musical instruments, carpets and furniture was assembled by Bert Flint, a Dutch art historian. It is a charming little museum of art and popular traditions from the Souss valley and the Sahara region.

Open wide your eyes - and ears. This is where the pink flamingos, ibis, ducks, doves and herons have only the sound of the galloping gazelles to disturb them. The Souss Massa natural reserve is a haven of divine, magical tranquillity. It is also the reason why the area was declared a National Park in 1991.The entire site is a protected area.

This nature reserve hosts numerous species of birds, amphibians and reptiles, all of them fed and watered under the watchful eye of Mother Nature.

A pleasant drive to the foot of the Higher Atlas by the road which passes through the gorges of the affluent river of the Assif Tamrhakht. All along you will see majestuous palmtrees overlooked by rammed-clay villages. Further down the village of Immouzer ; sometimes during rainy winters, you may discover waterfalls and also natural pools. Next Page >>
